Things to Do in Sokcho (Seoraksan)
Sokcho is a fishing port on Korea's east coast and the main gateway to Seoraksan National Park, where a cable car climbs toward the Gwongeumseong fortress site without the full hike. In town, Sokcho Jungang Market and Abai Village โ settled by refugees from the north after the Korean War โ are the places to try abai sundae, the city's blood-sausage specialty. Because it's a longer trip than a day allows, most visitors stay one or two nights. Below are the top-rated Seoraksan and Sokcho tours.
