K-ETA Checker for South Korea
South Korea has temporarily suspended the mandatory K-ETA for a set of designated nationalities. Select your passport below to see your current status — everyone, exempt or not, still needs the e-Arrival Card.
What every traveller needs to know
- The mandatory K-ETA is suspended for the nationalities above until 31 December 2026. Mandatory K-ETA is expected to return from 1 January 2027, subject to confirmation.
- Even if you're exempt, every traveller must submit the e-Arrival Card online before landing — paper forms were phased out on 1 January 2026.
- A voluntary K-ETA (10,000 KRW, about 3 years' validity, multiple entries) is available if you'd rather skip the e-Arrival Card and speed through immigration.
- Most exempted visitors can stay visa-free for up to 90 days, but rules vary by country — confirm on the official site before booking.
Always verify current requirements on the official k-eta.go.kr before booking flights — rules can change. k-eta.go.kr
